As we expand our government contracting and business services operations, we are looking to hire 250+ Proposal Writers and Government Contracting Specialists to help identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and respond to government procurement opportunities.

The Opportunity

This position starts as a performance-based role with clear objectives and measurable results.

Your primary responsibility will be to help Acumen Agency identify and pursue government contracting opportunities and develop strong, professional responses to RFPs, RFQs, RFSQs, tenders, and other government procurement opportunities.

Compensation is tied directly to performance and results. Strong performers will have opportunities to increase their earnings and potentially transition into salary-based positions as soon as possible as the company grows.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities may include:

• Research government procurement portals and identify relevant contracting opportunities.

• Monitor RFPs, RFQs, RFSQs, tenders, and other procurement opportunities.

• Review solicitation documents and understand requirements, specifications, evaluation criteria, and submission deadlines.

• Determine whether opportunities are suitable for Acumen Agency to pursue.

• Prepare professional and persuasive proposal responses.

• Draft executive summaries, technical responses, capability statements, methodologies, and other proposal sections.

• Coordinate with internal team members to collect information required for proposals.

• Research government agencies, departments, programs, and contracting requirements.

• Ensure proposals are complete, accurate, professional, and submitted according to requirements.

• Track proposal deadlines and maintain an organized opportunity pipeline.

• Assist with pricing, scopes of work, schedules, and other proposal documentation.

• Research competitors and relevant market information.

• Maintain proposal templates, documentation, and internal resources.

• Follow up on submitted proposals and track outcomes.

• Help improve Acumen Agency's proposal-development process as the company scales.

• Identify additional business opportunities within government and institutional markets.
